Our Projects
Education
We work to give children the education what they need to fight the inequalities that stand in their way in Ghana. We believe in the power of education to help end poverty. We partner with rural communities where children often complete school without vital basic skills. Our unique approach then assist children to create sustainable and effective out of schools learning skills to further enhance their lives.
Health
GHF health objective is to achieve Sustainable Development Goals in Health Delivery (SDGs) across communities in Ghana by reduction of HIV/AIDS, Malaria and other infectious diseases.Our program provides health outreach and educational services to rural communities, focusing on child health, nutrition, malaria prevention, and reproductive health.
Environment
We promote interventions that lead to sound and conservation practices, sustainable development of local communities through environmental and sanitation education,capacity building,research development and social enterprise projects in agriculture. GHF promote environmental citizenship initiatives through the preservation, protection and restoration of Ghana’s environment and natural resources.
Women Empowerment
Water and Sanitation
We aim for the empowerment of women and girls to help increase women’s participation in policy and decision-making processes in Ghana, which is initiated through advocacy. Again we work to strengthen, build women’s leadership capacity and skills in business and develop livelihood opportunities in the form tailoring, beads making and other vocations to improve their quality of life.
We implement WASH interventions to achieve increased sustainable access to use of safe water and sanitation services, to enhance good practices especially for women, vulnerable groups in the communities we operate in Ghana. Our NGO is dedicated to the provision of safe water, sanitation and hygiene education to the rural poorest people.
