GET INVOLVED

Educational Materials Donation: G.H.F has donated educational learning materials - Pens, Pencils, Computer Set and

Classroom Furniture (dual desk) which was presented to Kpebe Basic School in North Dayi district ,Volta region, Ghana. This initiative was to support vulnerable and underprivileged school children living in the project communities to to minimize adverse effect of school drop out, since most Parent's could not afford basic needs of their children to go to school. The NGO has immensely contributed to education in the community to facilitate teaching and learning among school children and teachers alike.

The Organization's team visited the beneficial school, saw the dire need and decided to come to their aid and the situation, also contributed to a lack of interest in school on the part of children in the area, as they constantly absented themselves from school. The NGO was committed to helping make education attractive to children in the community by donating the teaching and learning materials to encourage them to go to school. As part of our efforts to ensure inclusive education amongst the vulnerable in society, we thought it wise that we should come to the aid of these children and we are very hopeful this donation will contribute to improved learning outcomes in the school.

Gate of Hope Foundation (G.H.F), has organized Skills Training Project for selected women beneficiaries in Aveme,

Volta Region, Ghana. The goal of the women project is to empower women with sustainable skills, reduce gender-specific barriers and increase the contribution of women to achieve economic growth in Ghana. This project aims to train women to improve on their capacities and skills in alternative livelihoods, business management and marketing, packaging of products, access to markets, value-addition to produce and accessing microfinance for their businesses.

The project also seeks to expand opportunities for women and girls  to have skills training in local sustainable enterprise to

boost their livelihood, income to support families. Ghanaian women need more opportunities to succeed and greater control over resources and decision making. When women are able to develop their full economic potential -whether as business leaders, entrepreneurs or producers - economies thrive and the benefits of growth reach more people. And this will eventually break local cycles of poverty and address gender disparities.
